Several weeks ago E and I got pictures taken to use for Christmas cards this year and it's a slight understatement to say that I am obsessed with the way these pictures turned out. Ashley McDonald is your girl if you need pictures done in Abilene! She is sweet, makes the session so much fun and keeps things natural and not awkward. E still talks about how much fun he had that day, and that's coming from a guy haha. I updated the blog with our new photos, but I also wanted to dedicate a post to share some more and provide a closer look! This morning I designed a few Christmas cards and after a while finally picked a winner! The picture above was from the beginning going to be our Christmas card picture because I LOVED the wood background and the way the colors just p o p. So I designed a card and thought it was perfect. Then I looked through some more designs and decided to try another with multiple pictures and fell in love even more with our photos. I decided to design one more just to see if I could do even better, but I kept going back to #2. I asked E for reassurance and bam..... #2 it was. So this sweet photo above won't be making a Christmas card appearance, but it's still one of my favorites and will be printed to display in our home! Y'all, these are just a handful of my favorites! Now you kind of understand my dilemma in having to only pick 4 out of almost 100 amazing photos, and believe it or not only 1 of the above photos made the cut. Yikes! It was tough and I still can't believe I did it. Phew!
2016 Christmas Cards: check Also while we got these pictures done I got a few taken with my graduation cap to put inside some grad announcements! I am planning on doing a post soon that will include several of those photos for you all to see as well. It is still so crazy to me how fast time has flown. Graduating high school still feels like yesterday, but here I am married and 3 days away from graduating college. Hold on to all the precious moments life has to offer, take lots of pictures, and don't blink because time will pass you by just like that! If you want to see some more photos that are not included in this post, you can take a look at the other tabs in my blog (About, Contact) to see a few more that I am using as headers. If you and your family do Christmas cards I would LOVE to exchange cards with you! I am looking into a creative way to display all the new Christmas cards we receive each year and am so excited to get our collection started. We have only sent one other Christmas card throughout our 6 year relationship back in 2012, but I am most definitely making it a priority each year now that we are married! If you are interested in exchanging cards you can find my email under contacts and we can exchange addresses or you can always just shoot me a text or comment!
